1. Who we are

Transcriboro (the “Service”) is operated by ИП ____ (заполнить) (the “Operator”), reachable at legal@transcriboro.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data collected through https://transcriboro.com/.

2. What we collect

• ·Account data: email address, name, profile picture and identifier returned by OAuth providers (Google, Yandex).
• ·Usage data: uploaded audio/video files and the transcripts produced from them, job metadata (duration, language, status).
• ·Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, cookies (see Cookie Policy).
• ·Billing data: payment identifiers, invoice details. Full card numbers are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers.

We do not process special categories of data (race, health, political views) or biometric identifiers.

3. Why we process it

• ·to create your account and provide access to Service features;
• ·to transcribe the files you upload and deliver the result to you;
• ·to bill you, send receipts and meet tax/accounting obligations;
• ·to send service notifications (delivery alerts, security warnings);
• ·to send marketing communications — only with your explicit consent and opt-out at any time;
• ·to keep the Service secure and prevent fraud;
• ·to comply with applicable law.

4. Legal basis

We rely on the following lawful bases (GDPR Art. 6, where applicable):

• ·Contract — to provide the Service you signed up for;
• ·Consent — for analytics cookies and marketing emails;
• ·Legitimate interests — for security, fraud prevention and product analytics;
• ·Legal obligation — to keep records required by tax and accounting law.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

• ·payment providers (Stripe, YooKassa) to process payments;
• ·infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, object storage) under data-processing agreements;
• ·analytics providers (Yandex.Metrica, Plausible) in aggregated form;
• ·authorities, when legally required.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your uploaded content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

6. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the user’s jurisdiction, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. Retention

• ·Account data: while your account is active and up to 3 years after deletion (for tax / dispute resolution).
• ·Uploaded files and transcripts: per your plan; you can delete them at any time from the dashboard.
• ·Backups: rolled over within 30 days.

8. Your rights

You may at any time:

• ·access, correct or delete your personal data;
• ·export your transcripts;
• ·withdraw consent;
• ·object to processing or request restriction;
• ·lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We apply industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored files, access control, audit logs and least-privilege access for engineers.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at https://transcriboro.com/en/privacy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
